Protective Services is a Christian organization that has been called into a ministry to help ensure that our churches remain a safe environment for worship.
We have over 10 years experience in the area of church security. We have worked on areas specific to religious and educational organizations. We have extensive, specialized experience in threat identification and management and full security training.
Vulnerability Assessment: We will provide recommendations to secure your facility and avoid risk. A vulnerability assessment is an emergency preparedness and crisis management plan. The assessment evaluates threats and risks to prepare the organization for medical emergencies, crime, natural disasters, violent situations, lost/abducted children and more.
Training:
Fundamentals of Security: One day course designed for newly formed security teams, ushers, child care providers and support personnel. Prepares the team and staff to recognize threats and react in a proactive manner. Gives the team and staff the fundamentals of security and protection including: how to establish a chain of command, how to establish a communication protocol, how to recognize events within the church.
Advanced Security: For an established or new security team. This training covers the proper way to establish contact with a person, remove and restrain an individual (arrest control), fundamentals of pastoral protection, controlling aggressive persons in a multitude of situations, take down, manipulation and restraining techniques, incident command (medical emergencies, evacuation procedures, domestic disputes, Amber Alerts).
Security Ministry Training: For the advancement of the security ministry. Techniques in advanced arrest control, firearms (where applicable by law), self defense, pastoral protection (evacutation, personal planning, event planning), risk mitigation and crisis management planning, recognition and response.
Private/Custom Training: The above courses are designed to meet the needs of most security ministries. We can custom design courses based on the existing staff at your church and their unique needs and capabilities. Pricing based on number of students and required training.
On Site Training: We can train your staff, at your location, anywhere within the United States.
Consultation: Please call or e-mail us for a consultation. We can discuss the current security format at your church and your goals for ensuring the safety of your congregation. We can determine the needs of your church and tailor a training program to your circumstances.
We never disseminate your information outside of our organization.
